[He startles, but he only startles a little. He's a creature, but he knows Ourania-sama's voice very well, and so he settles down instantly, glancing around a little.]
A-Ah, yes of course!
[He will not waste time! He is a very punctual little Moon Priest. Mayoi gathers up his robes and skedaddles to which ever statue is closest.]
There's a soft bell-like sound of an amused chuckle, and when he takes his seat, the room shifts- they're in Ourania's room now, the Goddess sitting in a proper chair to rest instead of being bedridden for once. She smiles fondly, and beckons him to sit with her.
My priest. The times have been hard this year, have they not? I have an idea that may help lift some spirits, though. It's an old ritual and celebration my followers used to do, once upon a time.
[Ah, he feels like being in such a place will disintegrate him on the spot. He almost waits for it, being that he is him, and this is a holy, godly place. After a moment his heart settles once more and he tries to compose himself.]
[He is Ourania-sama's Priest, and he has been for SOME TIME, it's okay. He's okay. Breathe in and out. Okay.]
[He sits down.]
Ah...yes. I- P-Please forgive me, as I've failed so far to put together a solstice. We've had many come and go and I fear the forest's abhorrence to time is making my skin break out in stress- ah but!!
[He's rambling! To a Goddess!! He pulls on his hair a little bit to ground himself.]
That i-isn't an excuse of course! I will be happy to hear out anything you have i-in mind!
My poor priest, you've been dealing with so much. More than any of my priests before you! It's alright. Should you ever need to relax, by all means, pray and visit me.
Shhh. Shhh. It is okay.
Late winter, on the clearest night, my priests in this area would lead the community to the beach. The day would be spent eating, talking, telling stories... playing, too, as one could in the cold. And once the moon would hit it's highest peak, the people would write out wishes and prayers to attach to floating lanterns, which they would send into the sky over the water.
As she speaks, she conjures an illusion of such a lantern, and Mayoi will know instinctively how to make them.
They called it the Festival of Rising Stars. Isn't that cute?
[There is some miserably whining into her clothing as she holds him close. Something to the effect of I'm just a rotten little pill buuuuuuug that deserves to be squaaaaashed uuuee.... but he does settle down while she comforts him.]
[He's fine, he's just a little dramatic. He sniffles a little.]
O-Oh... if that wouldn't be imposing on your rest...
[It's hard to imagine him intruding on her for any reason, let alone to just decompress...ah, what a kind and gentle Goddess she is...]
Ah, It sounds like a lovely festival. I think ...such a time would be nice for everyone. It seems as though we have been unable to catch our breath for some time.

She doesn't seem offended and is in fact trying not to laugh.
I would not extend the invitation if I did not wish for you to act upon it.
And isn't it just? It will give you something to look forward to in the winter, too. Hopefully now you will be able to rest a while.
